Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer, born August 4, 1981 is an American actor. She's best known for the roles she played in the movie Cowboys & Aliens. The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great & Powerful, This Is Where I Leave You. Amantha is the lead in Rectify which is a Sundance Channel Drama Series. Her debut as an actor was All My Children, a soap opera that was filmed in Gulf Breeze Florida. For her work, she won the Soap Opera Digest Award as an Outstanding Female Newcomer. The following years she was mostly a guest on characters on a variety of television series. The character she played was the Dr. Erin Jameson on the show Hawthorne earned her praise. Her gorgeous looks and stunning appearance, along with her incredible acting ability led to a gradual growth of a fanbase. When she was about twenty years old, her first film performance was Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War & Chasing Mavericks were some of her films. Her role as a character in Beautiful Now earned her a nomination at the Madrid International Film Festival Award. Her most recent work in TV has been in the leading part of the professor of history Lucy Preston in the sci-fi TV series Timeless. Spencer is nominated for Teen Choice Award after her appearance on the show received praise from critics.
